FLA service in Norwich 

Our Free Legal Advice service in Norwich offers twice weekly drop-in sessions of free, independent legal advice staffed by local solicitors on a pro-bono basis. We offer legal advice on general (civil law), employment and family matters.

The drop-in sessions are held every Tuesday and Friday from 12 noon. 

These sessions are very busy. They are run on a drop in and book on the day basis; we ask that you arrive by 10.30am to book in with our receptionists, before this time we operate a queuing system. You will be offerd a 15 minute appointment between 12pm-2pm which is for initial advice only.

On Tuesdays we provide advice on Family Law and General Law matters. On Fridays we provides advice on Employment Law and General Law matters. A law student volunteer may interview you before you see the adviser to get the facts of your issues and maximise the time available. 

Many problems can be resolved immediately, but where this is not possible, clients are referred to specialist advisers and are advised about the availability of Legal Aid.

We will try to provide an interpreter for your appointment if you make a request in advance.  Please see our interpreters page for more information, or contact us.

FLA service in Cromer, North Norfolk

If you live in North Norfolk you can now access the same high quality and free advice service in Cromer. These sessions take place on Tuesdays from 5pm at Merchant’s Place, 16 Church Street, Cromer. Appointments are limited to 15 minutes initial advice.

FLA service in Great Yarmouth

In association with DIAL and Norfolk CAB, there are Free Legal Advice service in Great Yarmouth. Sessions run weekly alternating with Tuesday sessions from 2pm at DIAL, Kingside and Enterprise Hub, 26 King Street and Thursday sessions from 12pm at Great Yarmouth CAB, 2 Stonecutters Way. Appointments are limited to 15 minutes initial advice.
