HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY NCLS!
We are proud to have been supporting people in Norfolk for 40 years!
It was way back in 1985 that a small group of people sat around a kitchen table and saw a gap in the justice system that needed filling. Determined to help anyone who could not afford legal fees, these resolute people (not all heroes wear capes!) started the task of setting up an organisation that could do just that. They faced challenges along the way, but their dedication to fair and equal access to justice for all was the very beginning of Norfolk Community Law Service…. And here we are, 40 years later, supporting more people than ever across Norfolk.
We are of course very excited about our anniversary, and we have lots of events planned to mark this incredibly special milestone.
We could not continue to provide the help and support that we do without all of you. From volunteers to supporters, attending events and generous donations, every bit of help makes a significant impact, allowing us to continue and to expand our service, reaching the most vulnerable in our society and providing the legal expertise people need at some of the most challenging times in their lives.
This special year is a chance to do something special and to celebrate, but it is also a call to action. The funding landscape is becoming more challenging, and charities are having to work harder and smarter to raise the vital funds that allow us to keep going.
